So decadent but still healthy. One of my favourite breakfast recipes is this easy to make and quick oatmeal that tastes like a desert you want to indulge in. And who doesn’t want desert for breakfast without the guilt. The best part? It just takes about 3 minutes to prepare and leaves you full and satisfied. 25g (1/4 cup) rolled oats
25g (1/4 cup) grated hazelnuts (or other nuts you like)
1 tablespoon chocolate protein powder
1 tablespoon almond butter
1 teaspoon raw cocoa powder
Measure the ingredients and put the oats in a microwaveable bowl. Put in enough water to cover the oats. Then put the bowl in the microwave on high heat for about one minute. It depends on how you want the consistency of the oatmeal to be so experiment with the time here. You can also add more water if you want a runnier oatmeal. Then put in the chocolate protein powder, almond butter and raw cocoa powder. Mix everything together with a spoon, drizzle with some almond butter and top it off with crushed hazelnuts. And voilà, you satisfied your sweet tooth and stay healthy.
