Winter Beauty Favourites

Wintertime is dry skin time for me. I already have dry skin year round but in winter it even gets worse. So I’m all about changing my skin care products up to keep my skin hydrated and soft when the cold temperatures strike. For example, I incorporate oils into my beauty routine. I especially love baby oil after showering to nurture my skin deeply once a week. In winter my skin screams moisturize like nobody’s business so hydrating products are a must. These are my favourite wintertime skin helpers to fight dry skin in the colder season.

WinterBeautyFavourites2Always remove your makeup before you go to bed is a rule I follow religiously. No matter how tired I am, I always take the time to take my makeup off with a good quality makeup remover. For a few years now the Clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover is one of my favourite to do so. It gets rid of my eye make up so easily and doesn’t dry out my skin.

WinterBeautyFavourites7Another Clinique product I just discovered recently is the Clinique Turnaround Revitalizing Moisturizer. I got this travel size as a promotional gift for buying other products from the brand and I’m hooked. It hydrates so well overnight without being heavy on my skin.

WinterBeautyFavourites8I’m all about the deep cleaning when it comes to my skin so I really love the Origins Clear Improvement Purifying Charcoal Body Wash even in winter. With the minty smell I feel so refreshed after showering and really clean. I also use turn it into a body scrub from time to time with my massage shower glove.

WinterBeautyFavourites4If you know me you know that I always have lip balm on hand and it doesn’t get much smoother than with the cute packaged EOS Lip Balms. After trying the honeysuckle honeydew, I’m now on to the sweet mint flavour. I love that the balm only contains natural ingredients and is super moisturizing. It is also the perfect base before applying lip stick. No chapped lips this winter!
