We are way into fall now and it’s only getting colder in the next weeks. I usually have dry skin, which is getting worse when the colder season comes around. That’s why my face can look very dull and tired in fall and winter. Obviously, that’s not the look I’m going for. So this is the time to switch my beauty products from rather light textured moisturizers and purifying masks to heaver creams and products that really hydrate and treat my skin right. I believe that the different weather conditions in fall and winter make the skin crave more pampering and these beauty helpers do the trick for me.
I recently discovered the Freeman Golden Grain Brightening Mask after using other Freeman masks for a couple of months now and this one also doesn’t disappoint. It gives my dull skin the glow back and makes me look fresh and rested. The gel-textured mask also smells delicious and doesn’t dry my skin out. Just what I need in fall and winter!
I can’t tell you how much I love Kiehl’s. Since trying and buying their skin care products for the first time years ago in New York, I’m hooked. Almost every product I try is a winner and the all natural ingredients make them even better. I’m rebuying the Kiel’s Ultra Facial Moisturizer SPF30 for a long time now and my skin loves it. It hydrates so well and as a big believer in wearing SPF all year long this moisturizer is an essential for me.
Last but not least, the Philosophy Miracle Worker Eye Repair is the perfect little helper for my under-eye problems. I recently got a travel-size version as a free gift for buying other Philosophy products and love it since. The delicate area under my eyes trends to be very dry which forms fine lines and I carry dark circles for days no matter how much I sleep. I tried a lot of eye creams over the years and the truth is, most of them don’t really make a difference. But this little black and white tube ranks high when it comes to eye creams. It has a thick texture, which is the perfect hydrating primer before I apply concealer and diminishes my dark circles.
