Spring Beauty Routine

I’m a big advocate of changing your skin care routine when the seasons change. I think your skin needs a different treatment in different weather conditions. In fall and winter my skin needs much more hydration and heavier products to keep it soft during the cold. Whereas in spring and summer, my skin craves lighter products but with enough hydration to keep it in check. That’s why I want to talk about some beauty favourites I use lately, that are perfect for spring and summer.

But now I’m totally stoked about this one again. It cleanses my skin gently but effective without leaving it dry. This is definitely a winner. I love to use this with my cleansing brush and think I don’t even need an exfoliator any more.

Spring-Skin-Care-Routine3I tried the Origins United State Balancing Tonic after reading only good stuff about it and I was not disappointed. With a decent smell the toner draws out all the impurities without leaving my skin dry. This is the first time I can use a toner and not have to worry about putting on a moisturizer immediately after because it keeps the moisture levels of my skin in check.

Although I spend a fair amount of money on my beauty routine I would normally never buy a beauty product that almost costs 100 Euro. But lucky me, I got the Le Weekend de Chanel Serum at a beauty sale in one of my favourite beauty shops Kussmund in Vienna for a fraction of the price. And I have to say, it is really worth the hype. I use it on the weekends and sometimes during the week when I need a little boost. It makes my skin feel so soft and radiant that I almost want to use it every day to be honest.
