Dry Skin Beauty Favourites

Dry skin is my constant companion all year round, but it gets much harder to handle in the colder season. The more the temperatures drop, the more my skin cries for hydration. No wonder, I even keep a bunch of moisturizing products in my bag for on-the-go use besides the ones I already use at home.

That’s why I’m always on the hunt for skin care products that can really lock in the moisture for a longer time so that I don’t have to reapply as often. Lately, a few products really stood out from the crowd and made a difference in battling my dry skin. Scroll down for details.

Bean Body Coconut Coffee Bean Scrub

As a woman with very dry skin, body scrubs are a must in my beauty arsenal. I especially liked this one lately, because it not only leaves my skin soft and nourished but also smells heavenly like a freshly brewed coffee. It can get messy in the shower but the result is worth it, i promise!

Nuxe Multi-Purpose Dry Oil

This cult-favourite product is a bestseller for a reason. By combining six botanical oils and Vitamin E,  it nourishes deeply and even helps with cellulite. I like that it absorbs quickly and leaves my skin hydrated for a long time. The best part? It smells like a beach vacation and the scent lingers surprisingly. I even skip my perfume when wearing it.

Lush Mint Julips Lip Scrub

Say bye bye to chapped lips! I use this lip scrub in winter for years now and always keep rebuying it. The texture of the scrub is just right and gentle enough even for sensitive skin. After using my lips feel oh so soft and the smell is amazingly fresh. Fun fact: You could even eat this scrub after using it because it only contains natural ingredients.

Chanel Hydra Beauty Flash

Ok, Chanel has awesome skin products, but I’m always hesitant to buy them because of the price tag. A girl has gotta handle her budget, right? But when I saw this during a major sale, I had to just try it out. Luckily, it didn’t disappoint, because it is the perfect moisturizer during the colder season for me. Especially before applying make-up where it doubles as a primer that perfectly prepares the skin for it.

Technically this isn’t a product especially suited for dry skin but hear me out. This serum fights first signs of aging, gives me a more even skin texture and feels surprisingly hydrating. I like to layer it under my usual moisturizer in the morning and at night.
